For nearly 5 years, Medicum Healthcare has partnered with healthcare providers by sourcing medical talent across multiple disciplines to support their medical staffing and recruitment needs. Today, our clinicians cover more roles across the State of Maryland than any other provider.
We fulfill the needs of both the elderly and the children. With the help of doctors, hospitals, nurses, LPNs, CNAs, and the latest technology, we work closely with the families of our young patients to make life more livable and free of suffering for those in need of assistance.
We are a licensed residential service agency in Columbia, Maryland that provides home health care in the state of Maryland. We are fully licensed, insured, bonded, and meet all requirements to provide in-home healthcare and rehabilitative services. We adhere to strict standards.

How do I begin services with Medicum Healthcare?
Call and speak with the administrator or alternate administrator to discuss your needs, Our ability to fulfill those needs, and what to expect from our care team. If it is agreed to proceed, you will be scheduled for an in-office meeting for intake and admission.
How often will my home healthcare visits be?
The frequency of home healthcare visits and the services provided are based on your doctor’s orders in your personal plan of care. Your doctor may change your plan of care, increasing or decreasing the number of visits or services provided, in order to provide you with the best home health care for your needs.
What if I need help after your office is closed?
We have a Registered Nurse on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist our Clients with their Care Needs. Please call us at 301-681-7896
Can I change the schedule if I have a conflict?
Changes are easily accomplished with as little as a 24 hours’ notice. Our philosophy is to make the schedule work for you and your family not the agency. Your Goal is Our Goal.
What kind of people do you place?
We recruit, hire, and place a variety of healthcare professionals. The list includes nurses (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, GNAs, CMAs, PSCs, and more); allied health professionals like physical therapists, occupational therapists, and respiratory technicians; surgical technicians and assistants; school-based professionals; and many more.
